It is no surprise that the Dutch style has become an inspiration for contemporary European architecture. First of all, it has many contrasts – it seems eclectic, but in reality there is nothing ill-considered in it. It is very cosy and elegant, but at the same time economical in its accessories.It was with the idea of unconventional designs combining traditional architecture with modern accents that the original PVC-U Schüco LivIng Variant windows were created.

Their appearance is reminiscent of classic wooden joinery. In addition, they are extremely practical, warm and give many creative possibilities for shaping the appearance of the facade.

Window as a form of decoration

The Schüco LivIng Variant window with its characteristic angular profiles perfectly reflects the aesthetics of classic wooden windows and at the same time offers all the advantages of a high-quality, energy-efficient PVC-U window. Depending on individual needs, you can choose a variant with a 6 or 15° frame contour, and combine them to achieve the desired effect.

In addition, there are versions with frame profiles connected at an angle or at right angles. The full system includes a wide range of muntin bars, connection and additional profiles, thanks to which it is possible to make any concept of windows, balcony or entrance doors.

Energy efficiency and safety Large-format windows can generate large heat losses and thermal discomfort in the building if they are not made in systems that ensure optimal tightness and thermal insulation. The LivIng Variant window guarantees excellent energy efficiency thanks to the heat transfer coefficient for the frame Uf = 1.0 W/m2K. Such an effect has been achieved thanks to the six-chamber construction and increased installation depth up to 120 mm.

The sash can be fitted with special, warm glazing units up to 52 mm thick, which additionally increase the window insulation properties. The innovative system of thermally weldable gaskets made of high quality EPDM ensures effective wind protection and watertightness in class 9 A.

The joinery in the LivIng Variant system can also be made in the optimum SKG 2 burglary resistance class. The increased installation depth provides additional protection of the fittings against external interference.
